I recently attended my first Southern Gospel Music Fan Fair in Chattanooga, TN. I was overjoyed at what I witnessed. First off I want to say that Randall Wilds and his staff are doing a great job with this event it was very well controlled yet not overly controlled. The camaraderie among the people was great, everyone seemed to be in unity. I witnessed no attitudes. You sensed that everybody liked each other, and that was a pretty awesome thing. The well known groups were there, along with new groups, solo artists, family groups, trios, and quartets; it was great. I love what Randall is doing. It’s a new approach on an event but it is a great Idea. I heard people that I had never heard of before that were very good. If you are a Southern Gospel fan you will love this event. The facilities are good and there's easy access to the concert hall and booths. I would love to see this event grow and become a mainstay in Gospel music. Make plans to be there next year.
